PIEp 2009 Annual Event
93 people attended PIEp's 2009 Annual Event, which took place at Scania in Södertälje on Tuesday 24th November! The day kicked off with a Behind the Scenes Tour of Innovation at Scania, including the famous 'Pulsen'.
The afternoon opened with a warm welcome from PIEp's Chairman Hasse Johansson, Executive Vice President for R&D at Scania. PIEp's Director Sofia Ritzén went on to introduce a series of talks by PIEp People:

A thought provoking Panel Discussion followed the talks, compered by CTMH Node Leader Bertil Guve. Discussions continued over a delicious dinner in Scania's Marcus Wallenberg Hallen restaurant.
The Event rounded off with the presentations of the
PIEp Best Master Thesis Student Projects Awards. PIEp's Education Coordinator
Martin Grimheden and PIEp Board member
Mats Berglund introduced the best project from each node, and
Hasse Johansson presented each student - and their supervisor - with a framed PIEp certificate and a watch (hand picked by Mats Berglund!). More information about these student projects is available on the
