Creativity Day
The PIEp Cognitive Aspects of Innovation CIG is pleased to announce that Peter Österberg will give a one day lecture and exercise about creativity on Thursday 8th April 2010!
Creativity is an inborn quality and humans are keen to discover new solutions to problems they encounter if the cultural setting allows them to. Creativity is the first step for every innovative process, and the prime tool for people with an entrepreneurial ambition.
Taking place at KTH, this is the first joint activity between PhD candidates from two national research schools, Faculty D and PIEp, with a common interest in innovation and creativity. It is also an attempt to establish
"the House of creativity/innovation learning" as a common platform for experimental research and future collaboration between the two research schools.
All are welcome to attend. RSVP to

Innovation In Mind
Innovation in Mind/European Innovation Conference
Lund 16-17 September, 2009
In September 2009, Lund University held a well-attended innovation conference, giving several graduate students from the PIEp Research School the opportunity to listen to world-leading innovation researchers! Areas discussed included everything from open and user-driven innovation to social and financial innovation, with speakers including Henry Chesbrough, Eric Von Hippel and Nobel Laureate Kary B Mullis.
In addition to innovation, researchers, experts and practitioners from a variety of industries participated. Two exciting days with interesting speakers, but above all the opportunity to establish new contacts with other researchers and practitioners in the innovation field.
