PIEp conduct research that generates new processes, methods and tools, which are used in cooperation with businesses and other organizations in the community, to create change which means a new practice. Most research in PIEp focuses on innovation processes – how to organize the actors and activities in an organization dedicated to achieving innovation. With research, we build knowledge and develop the people who create and implement new organizations, processes, products and business. PIEp also supports business-driven research where the scientific research question dealt with business development
